HAND OR FOOT THERAPY 40MIN. $ 55
Enjoy a hand or foot bath with essential oils, followed by exfoliation of dead skin and a paraffin treatment, ending with a light reflexology massage.

A recent study published in Pain Management Nursing, June, 2004, showed how a 20 minute foot and hand massage helped to significantly reduce pain the day after surgery. The study looked at 18 subjects, 20 years or older, who were recovering from a variety of surgeries including: gastrointestinal, gynecological, urological, head, neck or plastic surgery. The authors of the study demonstrated that foot and hand massage is a very effective and inexpensive way to help people manage pain, even following surgery.

FOOT MASSAGE
Is one of the most unbelievably relaxing treatment. The ultimate study of foot massage is reflexology. Foot reflexology is "pressure therapy" and involves applying focused pressure to certain known reflex points located in the foot to cure or prevent disease. Foot reflexology is based on the premise that our nerve zones or reflex points go from the bottom of our feet to the top of our head, encompassing all vital organs on the way. Our trained reflexologist can put pressure on different meridiens or energy lines on the sole and side of the feet to determine the cause of illness.

Some benefits of reflexology will happen automatically simply by virtue of massaging the soles of the feet but the main objective is to help tired feet feel better!
